Do I need an account?
No — you can send files without signing up. Creating an account lets you manage the files you’ve sent and extend their retention.
How large a file can I send?
Up to 300GB in a single upload. Send large videos and raw assets as-is, without compressing or splitting them.
How long are files kept?
You choose a retention window (3–100 days) when you upload. Files are deleted automatically once it passes, so nothing is left behind by accident.
Does the recipient need an account?
No. They just open the share link and download.
Will I see ads?
No | Mintfile currently shows no ads at all. Upload and download pages stay clean: no popups, no fake download buttons, nothing pushed in front of your files.
How secure are the files?
Uploaded files go through a security check, but no scan catches everything — please don’t open files you weren’t expecting.
